At the request of the President of the Republic of the Congo, His Excellency Denis SASSOU NGUESSO, the godfather of the 1st edition of the Economic Forum for Growth and Investment in Central Africa (FECIAC) organized by the High Council of the Affairs of Central Africa (HCA-AC) in partnership with the community institutions, we were received in audience by the end of the morning of Tuesday, May 27, 2025 by the Minister of State Director of the Office of the President of the Republic of the Congo, Florent NTSIBA, which was attended for the circumstance of the Special Adviser on Economic and Finance of the President of the Republic of the Congo, Mr. Herve ASSAH; the Advisor Industry, Trade and private sector development of the President of the Republic, Mr. André KAMBA; and the Director of the Office of the Minister of State Director of the Office of the President of the Republic Mr. Antoine GAMBOU.
From the outset, the Minister of State Director of the Office of the President of the Republic was held to convey the warm congratulations of the President of the Republic, Head of State of the Congo to the High Council of the Affairs of Central Africa to the initiative of the organization of the FECIAC. It is a timely initiative and appropriate private sector of Central Africa, including the rationale and the objectives are in line with the vision and successive recommendations of the conference of Heads of state and Government of ECCAS.
The President of the Republic of the Congo especially appreciate this initiative, which marks a new dynamic of mobilization of private-sector organizations in Central Africa. He urged the High Council of Affairs to continue in this spirit of regional solidarity for him because no country can alone address major economic challenges and infrastructure of the region.

The Minister of State, Director of the Cabinet also expressed in the name of the Head of the State the satisfaction of the Republic of the Congo to the choice of Brazzaville to host the 1st edition of the FECIAC.
Finally, the Minister of State Director of the Office of the President of the Republic reiterated the encouragement of the President of the Republic of the Congo to the Organizing Committee of the FECIAC and renewed the commitment of the Government of the Republic of the Congo to bring to the Organization Committee of the FECIAC all the facilitation and support necessary for the proper organization of the FECIAC. In this regard, Mr. Special Adviser, Economic, Finance, and Councilor of the Industry and Private Sector Development have been designated focal points of the FECIAC to the Presidency of the Republic for the monitoring of the procedures relating to the proper organization of the event.
In return, and after having thanked for the hearing rich and dense, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the FECIAC, Daniel Claude ABATE, requested the Minister of State, Director of the Cabinet, to convey to His Excellency, the President of the Republic of the Congo, the sincere thanks and gratitude to the Organizing Committee for the sponsorship of the 1st edition of the FECIAC and for all the good provisions of facilitation expressed this day for the good conduct of the FECIAC.
In light of all the foregoing, and in view of the constraints of the calendar diplomatic, regional and international level in the month of June, we agreed to the postponement of the FECIAC June 10-12, 2025 at 6-8 August 2025. This time span will be used to give even more of radiation, and is a large-scale event with the support and guidance of the highest authorities of the Republic of the Congo.
